Safety relief valves on jacket pressure vessels
On jacketed pressure vessels, should a safety relief valve be placed on the shell, the jacket, or both? I assumed that since the shell design pressure is lower for this application, that a safety relief valve will be needed on the shell. I have included the pressure vessel info below.
