I want to know if there is any way to polish stainless steel through chemicals. Currently, I am doing electropolishing process on parts but I need something simpler process.

I am looking for a SS316L, 1.2mm thcikness in full hard sheet form.
I am getting it but that sheet is not flat as it is a cut piece from a coil and is curved. So, would I be able to make it completely flat through 3 or 5 roller straightening machine?
