Yes that's what I thought. I mean, all the information that exist (on books and the web) about these standards of fits don't take into account the orientation constraints.
As if you apply some say perpendicularity or parallelism the virtual conditions will deviate from the standard...
How the standard combinations of fits (as H7/g6 etc) can be used combined with orientation gdt? For example perpendicularity. As if I use the standard size for shaft and add the perpendicularity, I screw up the standard hole dimension (in virtual condition).
I am looking for a standard (if exists) that provides some requirements about revision marking on parts.
Is there any mandatory requirement to mark revision on parts? Or revision letter should not be marked on parts?
I know that standards provides requirements about drawings and their revisions...
Hello,
I need some help related to ANSI drawing standards that I could find any reference.
My question is related to "adding balloons in an assembly drawing".
When we have complex assembly drawings with multiple views and sheets, it seems to me more appropriate or more clear to use the same...
Hello,
We have a SST bushing press fitted inside an aluminium block. Both were protected against corrosion prior to installation (i.e aluminium was anodized and the bushing was passivated).
But due to a design error, we need to ream the internal diameter of the bushing which is already fitted...
