    Lilium down the gurgler

    I should have added: 🙄

    Lilium down the gurgler

    WTF!!

    Windrunner

I read something about a compromise between disk solidity and harmonics with the tower (e.g. vs 4 blades).

    Turbocharger turbine to compressor sizing

They are a compromise, using what is available off the shelf. Well, not exactly, as Garrett designed a couple of T3/T4 hybrids for GM back in the 80s, but in both cases, the turbine was a dedicated design for the respective applications. The turbine should be designed to work well with a...

    wheel time hole sizes

That is an interesting, but cryptic comment. Care to elaborate?

    Cylinder Deactivation

Sounds pragmatic to me. You might as a precaution check codes with a scanner periodically just to make sure nothing is being missed. rant/ My late model Grand Marquis defaults to use overdrive at speeds above 35 or so, which is way too low for overdrive, so it is always downshifting or coming...

    Detroit nozzle

Sorry for your individual difficulties, but glad to see the sanctions are having some effect.

    Detroit nozzle

I'm guessing Detroit Diesel corporation, or whatever they are called now. Any diesel engine workshop should be able to advise you.

Maybe throw in some Ginsu knives?

    Two-slider crank mechanism

So far, nobody is finding it useful. Keep beating the bushes.

    Lilium down the gurgler

I saw that. Definitely a freak event, unless somehow the design ensured or promoted such a blade shedding mode.

    Boeing again pt2.

Brilliant. Some kind of duty cycle to go with that, e.g. 5 on, 5 off?

    Two-slider crank mechanism

Along with all the obvious flaws and shortcomings I see the potential for the machine getting jammed or the horizontal slider reversing inadvertently when the crank is at BDC (horizontal slider at mid stroke).

    Boeing again

My best recollection is the former. It was definitely a standalone, non-modular system. I remember making several designs with it, under client or government supported projects: A composite LD45 cargo pod, a square steel tubing space frame for a prototype wrapped belt conveyor system, and high...

    Boeing again

3D, I honestly don't know... I wasn't too much into the tech. "Schiefgehen wird, was schiefgehen kann" - das Murphygesetz

    Boeing again

Interesting. I remember when the small consulting company I worked for at the time purchased several obsolescent Computervision workstations at a good price from Boeing, back around 1989. "Schiefgehen wird, was schiefgehen kann" - das Murphygesetz

    PCV and evap system

Well, the idea about returning the blowby gas, mainly air, after the MAF is that it's already been metered, so you don't want to meter it again. After the throttle body is not an issue from a metering aspect, but is useful to give a helpful delta P to ensure the flow goes in the desired...
