We don't need particularly high torque or speed. Something that can be driven by a 5 Volt DC motor. To be intended to be driven on a cement and/or marble tile floor.
Overall weight of the car, without any battery components, is around 500 grams. No occupants at all.

My friends and I made a wooden toy car for a project. For now it's hand driven, but we want to add a battery and DC motor in order to drive it with a button.
We're not sure what material or size of gear we should choose for the "link" between the DC motor and the axle that rotates the car...
