Sorry for the delay. I modelled the arch with solid elements connected by point contact at their interface. Now I think it's necessary to perform a pushover analysis to determine the seismic behaviour of the structure so as to design the steel post tensioning. How do I perform such analysis...
Thank you for your kind reply, I'm actually from Italy :). I know it's a difficult subject, but I'm willing to take on the challenge as it's something I'm really interested into. I don't have a specific element ready for the analysis, but I may set up a sample arch if needed!
