    Hi waross, I did think maybe the new one is faulty. I should have said I did try 2 others. I'm going to test the voltages at the transformer tomorrow while I operate the valve.

    When pulled in it has a trickle voltsge of 30v. Its just enough to not let the spring return. Its 110v ac control circuit. Im.thinking of adding a 110v spdt relay. When not activated the coil.shorts itself out. This would remove that trickle voltage

    Good afternoon all. I have a strange volt drop issue. We have a very old packing machine. I have a CompAir solenoid valve that has failed. Its a 5/2 valve with a 110 solenoid. No bid deal right?
