    Wonderware to Excel

You can achieve want you want or at least something similar. Here is what I have done in the past. I used Wonderware and Excel to create a power plant monitoring system. I used Wonderware just as a GUI. I performed all calculations in one Excel Workbook, stored them all in another Excel...

    Sizing Criteria for Sand/Oil Interceptors

I am looking for typical sizing criteria for Sand and Oil Interceptors. I know that the Interceptor Size is typically calculated using the following formula: Retention Time * Waste Flow Rate = Interceptor Size But what are typical values for Retention Time and Waste Flow Rates for various...

    radiant snow melting

The R-Value of granite that thick will be somewhere around 4.5. That is fairly high, so you may want to increase your tubing size and also space your tubing fairly close together. And of course don't forget to put insulation underneath the tubing to prevent downward losses. You also may have...

Parallel Piping Systems.....Books and On-Line Info

Does anyone know of any Books or On-Line Articles about Parallel Piping systems and how to calculate the system head loss? Also does anyone have any recommendations for software programs that work well for closed loop parallel piping systems (HVAC two and four pipe systems)?

    TURBINE HEAT RATE

I think you are looking in the wrong place....ASHRAE deals with heating and air conditioning. Nonetheless, I used to work for a power company, and we used the GE manuals and the correction curves in the manuals to determine what the heat rate should be at our ambient conditions. Good luck.

    Admiralty Tubes

Shmulik, Is the arsenic dangerous? I don't know what you mean, but I'm sure that if you ate enough arsenical admiralty tubes that you'd get pretty sick. However, I don't think there is any risk handling the tubes. We have arsenical admiralty tubes in one of our condensers, and we have been...
