    Toy with magnetic levitation

Hey, They could be using two magnetic fields, and trapping the object in betwwen them. That would keep the object from being tossed aside and would keep it in the air. Where did you see this?

Change DC Logic Output to Pulse

It's possible to use a capacitor to hold the old logic level momentarily while inputting to a logic gate or comparator to cause a pulse output. The logic level could be tied to both pins, but with a capacitor hooked on the one to slow its response, causing a dissimilar input and a momentary...

    underwater electrical connections - wireless

Regarding the first answer by peebee, he's absolutely right. RF is a bad idea for in-water transmission, and water does block UV completely after a few inches (the denser particles and the short wavelength cause that). IR is used by the Navy in some situations, but the transmissions are...

    Z80 Microprocessor w/ Floppy drive

The reason I'm using a z80 is because it's cheap. ($1.20) I'm new to microprocessors, so I decided to start with a cheap one I could work with (8-bit data bus and 16-bit address). And because it's cheap, I'm not afraid to possibly screw it up.

    Z80 Microprocessor w/ Floppy drive

I'm working on building a low-cost computer control system, and I need help on finding a floppy disk controller circuit that could be interfaced to the 8-bit data bus. I havent't been able to find any data on the drives themselves, either. If someone could point me in the right direction, that...
