    Increase memory size

Hi! Thanks for the input. Just found serial flash of 4Mbits (potential of 64Mb). http://www.nexflash.com/html/ Think I'm heading the right direction.

    Increase memory size

I'm designing a microcontroller embedded system using P89C51RC2 (8051 based with 4 i/o ports (8 bits)). I need to have a least 1 to 8 Mbytes of external memory for data storage. How can I do it at the lowest cost? What type of memory shall i use? EEprom, CompactFlash, etc? - I do not like to...

actuator with high gain and high bandwidth

I have a mass of about 1grams. I like to actuate it at x,z direction with a stroke of +/- 1mm. Magnet to be used for stator and coils on the mass. Do you have good idea on material to suspend the moving mass including? Actuator bandwidth is >4kHz.

Measure flux density of NdFeb magnet

I would like to measure the quality of NdFeb. Following is the specification of the magnet Dimension: 5 x 5 x 2 mm Magnetization: 4 poles on each 5x5 mm^2 surface. (4 equal quadrants surface... like rice field) I would like to determine magnetization quality like the - Flux density -...

    Improve stepping motor step accuracy

I'm designing in a stepping motor in optical disc drive. The step accuracy is poor. Microstepping is adopted. Step accuracy improves, but still not good enough. Any idea how to improve the step size? I'm not considering of reduction in leadscrew pitch size.

    Floppy drive stepper motors

You need a operate via stepping motor driver IC. 2 pulses or sine waves are need (in 90 degree out of phase) to the input to the IC.
