Autodesk Vault is a database that provides version control not revision control, really it is a very watered down PDM/PLM. The only real advantage or reason for using Vault is that Vault allows for multiple user enviroment.

We reccently installed and are using Inventor R10 and started noticing some performance issues with Inventor and our Network.
The network in general seems to hit a bottleneck evary so often and slows everything down (email, Inventor, etc...)

My co-worker was the only user of this particular project file. So no one else would have been working in this project.
One of my co-workers came across this problem, when attempting to make changes to a project file he created Inventor R10 would not allow him to save. We attempted to create a new project file the same thing happened. Has anyone come across this sitiuation? What was the fix?
