    Also because the butterfly valves were difficult to open and close it made dumping part IBC's to a specific weight near impossible and a bit more than messsy.

    I worked for a company making tungsten carbide. We used IBC's with butterfly valves. If the powder was was at all sticky as many are, the valve only compounded the problem. The valves were also extremely difficult to open and close manually.
