Current division based on saturation current

Thanks, I did end up with a combination of Linear products ltc3092 and an LM134.

Current division based on saturation current

I am inquiring about selecting transistors for current division by its saturation current near DC. I would like to realize a 100:1 ratio current source by selecting like transistors with a 100:1 saturation current in a simple mirror. Question: is there a parameter search where I can input...

Flow sensor has two no flow states

All is well, all you all are great, you all have fine suggestions. Have a great day! CY

Flow sensor has two no flow states

    Ouch!

Flow sensor has two no flow states

Well, Im working on two circuits driven by the flow sensor: peak detect with final value at about 9V driving 100k resistor to the drain of FET_1 and in parallel a voltage divider consuming very little current driving the gate of the same FET_1. The peak detect at approximately 9V at the drain...

Flow sensor has two no flow states

Yes, but Im only interested in flow not how much. So frequency indicates flow and yields a dc value turning on a fet, but so does one of the off states +V, when the turbine stops at the pickup.

Flow sensor has two no flow states

I am inquiring about some ideas on how to handle a turbine pickup flow sensor, cheap model about $12. The sensor has three states: 1. NO FLOW - gnd, 2. NO FLOW - +V, 3. FLOW - variable frequency square wave. The signal is low pass filtered and drives the gate of an nmos fet indicating flow or...

    No wires, chip programming

I want to get a discussion going on Bluetooth technology: It is my intention to design a development board with bluetooth and an FPGA. The limited scope of the project is to implement a fairly robust bluetooth link via linux 2.6 kernel running on a Xilinx FPGA. Fpga's are my area of interest...

    PCB BGA gigabit tranceivers

Is anyone using pcb design to incorporate two boards with gigabit transceivers, like a motherboard and a daughterboard? I would like to design a system that allows gigabit tranceivers from pcb to pcb without component connections in between the boards. I am thinking of a BGA to implement it. Is...

    weibbridge to diff pair?

Thank you for the input. It is going to make the project completion easier by having a bit of reason pull me back. I selected the ADS1230 a complete front end ADC for a weighscale type application much like my current project. I have completed the design of the support circuitry for the chip...

    weibbridge to diff pair?

Looking to build up a gain stage out of a load cell. Client has placed a load cell on an electric trailer brake to actuate increased torque on a big whirly gig, vertical blades wind mail. There is not enough output 3mv/V to see a voltage on the oscope? Can read some change with a digital voltage...

    pcb mountable shield

If it is quick and dirty you need seems like you could stamp one out with some heavy foil. It would likely fit better than anything you could buy. This is only my tow cents, However, good luck.

    Translation from 5V to 3V

hltc, Your handle almost sounds like the right logic choice, but have a look at this logic and part: SN74LVC4245A. My project went the other way cmos to ttl this one should go from ttl to cmos 5 to 3. There is so much logic on TI, but if this does not work look on TI site it has what you need...

    Translation from 5V to 3V

hltc, I just finished a little FPGA driving a Noritake vacuum display. I ordered an analog part lpc 32 pin package?, quite small and hard to work with utlizing a soldering iron. I was looking around in my supply as found a TI74ach273 and worked great. Put a quick design on eagle produced some...

    Has anyone used Eagle Cadsoft?

Pucca, I use eagle cadsoft and have found the web site to be a wealth of information. The group of people using and modifying eagle is rather astounding. It has its drawbacks but cost and number of people enjoying its flexibility are not among them. The forum http://www.cadsoft.de/forum.htm can...

    Building a Colpitts

I have liked the idea of putting together a colpitts oscillator. Tried one from a nice description by valdim Manassewitsch and dead bugged a 10 MHz colpitts with a 2222 BJT and passives I had at the office. A small amount time a bit more effort in the calcultations an order to any of the mirad...

    oscillator bank

monsta, I worked with a guy during grad school that realized an application that is, i believe, a stone through away from your application. He realized a rather complex FFT in fpga hardware that was off the shelf. The gist of the unit is an optical carrier modulating 2 GHz of singal bandwidth...

Synchronize & Compare Two Analog Signals

I agree with Macgyver, in order to get a solution to the problem the problem has got to be defined, with that said i will offer that a differential pair is such a circuit. it rejects the common mode of signals even dc and apmlifies differential signal. if you design a differential pair and...

    Professional Engineers

I am looking to get my professional engineer's license in the state of MT. It is required that an engineer in training work under a PE for four years or there are other equivalences. I believe MT law states that my master's degree affords me two years toward the four required. I am inquiring the...
