    Mechanical Vs Gland Seals in Pumps

    Can anyone tell me a good source of detailed information on the operation of both mechanical seals and gland seals. Also if there is any documentation comparing the two or any other methods of sealing a shaft driven pump. Cheers Mike Ellis
