Until you are at a point where you can afford to slow down a little, I'd stick with 2001. There will be a learning curve with wildfire and if you plan to go to Ilink, you will definitely have a learning lag.
As someone said, the only hickup was the use of 3.2 instead of 3.3 with wildfire.
