I’m trying to determinate Teflon content and distribution over a Nickel Plating by SEM/EDX that should be between 15-20 %, but I didn’t find a standard or document to perform the testing I wonder at how many magnifications must be used to do this test.
I NEED TO PERFORM A TESTING TO DETERMINATE THE STRENGTH OF SMALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENS (L:1.5 IN, W: 1/4 IN , 0.35 IN)
BUT THE SAMPLES DON'T FIT THE UNIVERSAL TESTING MACHINE. ANY REFERENCE WILL BE REALLY APRECIATE
I try to find how prepare the BROMINE-METHANOL ETCHANT SOLUTION (BrMeOH) to perform a SEM over a 690 nickel alloy. I already look for in the ASTM E 407 and AMS handbooks without any luck.
