Simon, I don't think you will get any meaningfu;l results as any material that has undergone the influence of corrosion will give extremely variable results.
Has anyone any experience in 30%Titanium /Copper Alloys(Master Alloys). I have been asked the question - how much titanium goes into solution and what does the microstructure look like? The only info i have is that the alloy is melted at 1100 degrees C using argon as a protective atmosphere.
