    Does anyone know of a steam seperator supplier that will allow a unit with a flanged drain? rather than a screwed fitting.. we want to use a unit for a liquid knock out but on a process service.. e.g. as a knock out drum.. but we need flanges for our 300 lb pipe spec on all connections,.,.

    Sorry for the confusion Don, API does have a method to size the capacity of valves. So does ASME.. 1. API 521 Gives a rating case 2. API 520 gives a valve capacity 3. ASME Sec XXX - Gives a capacity. Or rather some relief valve vendors only use 3 not 2.
