Obtaining Seals to suit a 12.5mm shaft
Hope someone can help me here, I'm after the following seals ARS Oil Seal U-Cup E9981/A41 18mm O.D by 12.5mm I.D by 3mm long ARS Wiper/Dust Seal U0716/A11 25mm O.D by 12.5mm I.D by 7.5mm long, the internal recess/bore in the bottom that presses over the seal head is 23mm I.D by 3.5mm...- atmo

How to make shims
Thank you all for your help. It appears as if I'm going to have to punch my own to get what I want which is going to be no major problem. I now just have to try & find some one local here in New Zealand who can supply me with some spring steel shim, otherwise I will have to source this from...- atmo

How to make shims
I am needing to make some shims up. The shims will be between 25-50mm OD & have an ID of approximately 12mm. Thickness varies between 0.1mm to 0.3mm. The material has yet to be decided but will be a high tensile steel as these shims need to deflect & then return to their orignal state. Would...- atmo
