Half Bridge driver
Nevermind, I got it working right. The IR2153 is self oscillating at 200kHz and is being pulsed at 20kHz, can even pulse it much faster..- Jamez

does anyone know of a good half bridge drive IC that can operate at 200kHz and also be turned on an off at about 20kHz, so the ac waveform would be a pulsed continuous wave.. Its for a power supply I am designing, I'm using a IR2153 self oscillating half bridge driver right now, and it doesn't...- Jamez

the power supply is for a high pressure plasma discharge lamp. It needs to have an input power of less than 50 Watts. I have done plenty of research on the internet on chip based HV supplies. There is plenty out there in the way of Flyback driver ICs, high voltage IGBT's and what not...- Jamez

I am trying to build a power supply which will have an input of somewhere between 9VDC and 24VDC, and have an output of around 1800VDC pulses @ >20Khz (so as to not be audible) and a low duty cycle maybe 10-20%, so the output will basically look like a series of 1800VDC spikes, and should not go...- Jamez
