Hi,
My thermal oxidizer is in operation for 5 months. We oxidize process waste air (use as combustion air) and wastewater. Our burner is a North american with a 5:1 turndown ratio using oil#6 . Our thermal oxidizer go from low fire (2500 CFM of air) to high fire (9000 CFM of air) about 6 times...
We use bunker oil #6 with steam atomisation. We have a North american burner. The supplier ask us to get around 100 SSU at the burner. It's fine for us, but they also ask 100 SSU at the beginning of the valve train (before control valves, regulator, etc...) It seems that is too high for nothing...
Hi,
Somebody have the suggested viscosity (SSU) at the oil valve train inlet of a thermal oxidizer? A supplier told me to supply him 100 SSU at the inlet of the valve train. For my part, if i required 100 SSU at the burner, 100 SSU at the beginning of the valve train is too much
Thanks
