My initial reaction was also that the defualt zoom was wrong, however I stuck with it and the (pull/push=zoom in/out) now seems completely logical.

This is a problem I have noticed also - running SW2005 SP02.
One way around this is to convert draft quality views to high quality prior to printing.

Since loading SW2005 I have noticed a problem whereby items no longer highlight in the feature tree when I run the cursor over them.
