Cowski I tried what you suggested taking the retain tool and retain options off and its still not working im still getting a multiple solids error

Hey guys, im fairly new to unigraphics and i am trying to learn the software.. when i try and subtract a tool from the target body, it gives me an error message which says "tool cannot split target into multiple solids" , i know from v18 that this was possible...why was this feature...
