Mine would go though tall grass at a very conservative engine speed and not stall, and redline was a very scary rpm! It screamed at the high end! I never have needed more than "3.5" hp...

I have never seen a gas engine have good tow ratings, but turbo diesels do well.
Why can't you tow with a turbo gas engine?
