    NGL Pipelines

    We have a new job - to build and commission a NGL Pipeline. Never done this before. Crude Oil, yes. Gas, Yes. IN order to stop teh NGL evaporating on injection into the line I guess we have to pre-pressure it. Anybody commissioned a NGL Pipeline? Tips, hazards etc? Replies appreciated.

    I have typically added corrosion inhibitor and Oxygen scavenger to pipeline hydrotest water. I now have a specification which does not require it. Only potable water.     Drying of pipelines; Does anybody know of computer programmes / rules of thumb about dryiing time for pipelines? I have searched and found zilch. two methods are used : vacuum drying and air drying. Guide for eiter apreciated. It seems to be a 'suck-it-and-see' method. Comments?
