    I have welded using this method just once in my training. you will need the right flux and filler rod. I found that I created more holes than I should have. This was on 1.6mm sheet. Aluminium brazing, now that was difficult.

    If there is spatter around the weld it will not have been TIG welded as this is a 'clean' method of welding.
