Watash,
Not knowing exactly the kind of fixtures you are using, I might also suggest doing the same as tool and die shops and dip your fixtures in a heated wax or rubber like substance which coats the metal and is easily removed. The size of your fixture and any orifices may be a problem however.
you could write a loop with the computation inside and have the matrix number increase on each success change. You could set a counter to match the last matrix number in case you didn't know how many to do.
I'm not sure of the exact arrangement you are talking about but it seems to me unless the bearings each carry 100 lbs this will not work. Stacked one on top of another will not distribute the load to all four seperately but each will be carrying the full 400lbs. I may be missing something in...

joshyD,
The classes you are taking will be needed for ME but check with the 4 yr college on the Chem requirements. Several schools have dropped this class, reinstated it, and are reevaluating it. Basically, it seems the needed curriculum changes yearly. Therefore, just stick to what the 4 yr...
gene41,
I believe you may have to define the valve train set-up used also. Seems to me that the type of lifters and valve springs would be a factor in torque calculations. Just a thought.
Try this site for the US News college rankings. I believe the rankings even go into Majors, so this should help your college choices in your geographic area.

Do you have a preference for a geographical area to study in,with concerns such as; do you want to stay near where you live now, near a big city, work at the same time you go to school, etc?
Aren't the yield and tensile strengths given only applicable to cold stock? Depending on your material I think at those temperatures the molecular structure would change and depending on how the material was cooled the final product would have properties unlike the material properties intially...

You can probably buy one at Radio Shck or some RV parts store. You need an AC-DC converter. Sorry about the transformer part but around some old auto stores that is what they were called.
I have seen some older battery chargers with this feature and have seen 12V transformers with adapters of this type. If you can get a 12 V transformer that will put out enough power to run the fridge just make up an adapter with an old lighter socket from a vehicle.
