I'm in Worcester, (thats the English one for our American chums).
I'm quite lucky though, get to travel all over, was even in the states before christmas, Lawrenceburgh, near nashville.

An "ex" is a has been, a "spurt" is a drip under pressure.
I dont see any point in your expert post, everyone is trying to help, and over here at least it is very common to find older machines retro fitted with all types of equipment...

It is possible, but wouldnt be easy to do.
It may be cheaper to just buy a permanent magnet armature dc motor.
I wonder why you wish to do it ?

I am looking for details on a very old 2 speed AEG ac induction motor I've come across at a customers.
Details:
make: AEG
model number : AM280 MZ 4/2 Y11
power: 72/82 KW 127/137 Amps
speed: 1435/2980 rpm
This motor is very old, and seems to use a star delta type contactor...
