Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for a nomogram that will show pressure losses / flows / working pressures for up around 1200NB pipe. Crane only appears to go to about 700mm, but i am stepping from 1200 down to 1050 then back up again on API5L 12.7 WT pipe.

am wondering if anyone has some neat ideas to retain bolts/nuts in the event of a failure, to prevent them hitting someone if they have failed under tension. short of welding snug blocks around and over them, i am not aware of any other ideas

i am in australia but am a bit confused - you mention an australian site but i assume B31.3 is an american standard? The aust standards AS 4037 is for Examination & testing of Pressure piping. also, AS4041 is the general pressure piping standard. If you welders are prequalified...

being from Oz, i am having trouble trying to locate info on this brand of spray nozzles. There is a www.spears.com site but it appears to only deal with pipe and fittings. Is anyone aware of another web site or where i can get info. I am particularly after flow rates,pressures, etc...
