I have an anchor point that should be designed for 5000 Ibs as per OSHA , that will be based on factor of safety of 4. My question is, should i factor the 5000 Ibs or not ?, i found that some application factor it by 1.5.

A 1920 slab with undeformed bars, Can i get help on what reduction should i put into consideration for having undeformed bars instead of deformed bars !
I would get a Structure Engineer first, he might be able to address the problem by him self without the need for hiring a Geotech. one.
For example he might be able to reinforce it in a more conservatively way that no need to check for the soil nature

I am using 8" x8" timber post spaced 6' on bedrock, how deep should i go for the rock, DO i need concrete foundation or backfill with gravel around the hole, Should i use rock anchors

The bottom (tension Flange) of the C channel is braced each 8’ by nodel angles (from one side only)
I thought adding transverse stiffener to the C channel (from one side only )will increase the resistance to tensional buckling
