    I understand how to calculate fb for the major axis (X and Y) but how do go about finding your actual bending stress about the z axis,i.e. the fbz as mention in section 5.3.1. Also, the property tables only provide S for the x and y axis. Where can I find any info on how to calculate this?

    Concreting on sloping surface

    I don't know exactly what the application of the slab is for but I have seen concrete bags (or mats) used to protect slopes. Only two companies I know of make them. It seems many people are unaware of them. This may not be of any help but it may be useful in future projects.

    I have been able to determine my stress per bolt on the bolts for a HML but I am using A36 rods (not A325 or A449). On page 6-83 in LRFD second edition it references Table J3.2 which does not include A36 bolts. My Fy=55 ksi and Fu=81.5 ksi as provided by the manufacturer. Can I still use these...
