    CMM calibration

    hi we just purchased a used DEA manual cmm (1992) it is in excellant shape. when I set it up and tried to measure known dimensions it seems to read 0.001" out. I can't seem to find any reference in the manual to calibrate the machine or to compensate for this error. Does any know what to do...
