Material orientation is a function of the global coordinate system (surface normals of intrinsic CAD surfaces)
Ply angle is the reference orientation itself and this reference changes with material orientations
Those parameters are mainly related to local approach in Fatigue engineering.
Coffin manson characterizes the plastic area (equivalent of low cycle fatigue)
Other parameters are related to Ramberg-Osgood cycle hardening/softening material curve

To whom it may concern,
I'm pretty interested in litterature (if any) highlighting the adhesive effect over Fatigue life of spot welded structures (body in white. if anyone can refer to this topic, it'll be greatly appreciated

I'm just opening this discussion cause we are about to migrate in CATIA V5 and lots of discussions are around Nastran integration too. Any ideas on SimDesigner state of the art now ?
I'm a bit suspicious about integration into CATIA V5 and i might be wrong, but so far there is no emerging...
Total cost is just related to mass
With mechanica standalone only predefined variables are available. Thru Behavorial modelling you may create computed measures
