If you create a new part (core insert) under you main core block and model your blank insert Mold wizard will do the rest for you. Under the sub-insert command using the mold trim option, set your options to trim, core side and mold surface.

Prior to linking the cavities into your new part you need to add an existing part (however many times it will occur in your finished cavity block), repostion them to their correct location. Then you can link them in and unite them.
