Looking into designing wheels, what software is handy for something like this. Currently I use SOlid Works, but I'm looking for software that the majority of the wheel manufacturing companies use. Any Ideas? Where I can get pre-existing wheel templates?

Thanks for all the help! After some looking into, it seems like I'm gonna start testing the hook with a urethane covering. Thanks again for the input it helped a lot.
I have an industrial "S" hook that is used to secure mobility devices. There is a nominal force of approx. 500lbs on the hook at all times. I am looking for a sleeve and/or designing a covering/boot for this hook so that it does not wear/scratch/damage the mobility device.
