    gaps between contact pairs - explicit

    I have a pinned connection that I want to model. In reality, there is a washer but I don't want to model that. I want the contact surfaces to maintain a gap of say 0.05". The components are solid sections meshed with tets and I element based surfaces. Thank you for your help
