Maybe I'm stupid, but what are the real penalties in having 1 file for each sheet in a multi-sheet drawing vs have 1 file for the entire multi-sheet drawing.
Has anyone actually worked under both systems found any significant draw backs.
How do you put detail profiles and section lines on layers?
You don't appear to have any control over them to do this.
This is really annoying. In 2004 the detail profile and section lines used to default to the dimension colour you set.
In drawings I like working on a black background (less harsh on the eyes) and have so since 1997 when first started using Soidworks.
Now the problems in 2005 are these.
1. You create a section and the section line is created as black and hence cannot be seen against a black background.
