I went from a pier to pier to a ...
domain network and now have lost my previous 'personally tweaked acad settings'
what folders do I need to copy over to the new domain? the ones that hold my settings?
Thanks

Thanks ya'll,
I'll contact some shoring folks. And yes, I'll be sure to note on the drawings that the wall concrete must achieve 2,500 psi strength (will check the original concrete spec'd for the wall) I'll locate one brace +/- 2/3's the way up the wall and estimate a machinery weigh then...
On a commercial project, I have a 12 foot tall and around 40 feet long, 12" thick, double matted steel concrete cast in place wall. There is a small 30" wide, 24" deep 'continuous' footing along it's length at the bottom to handle the 'vertical bearing' load.

This is pat... I appreciate your response... this is a new one for me... i just spaced the beams at 3' o.c..... they span 10' and are w12x14's.... two bays....

I'm not worried about the perimeter steel beam loading or anything.. .just the 'vehicle load' on the deck... punching shear...
I have floor beams...
Thanks ya'll- I'm in Austin Texas... yes a six inch thick concrete slab with w6x6-w2.9xw2.9 on a galvanized steel deck 0.6c28 holding at least 400 psf.
Beams at 3'0 centers...12' spans...
the underside will be exposed... think the beams and columns should be galvanized?
this forum is...
Yes... purely residential slab load... I agree... a small 3 foot beam spacing should be fine... I think I'll use 75 psf loading though... just in case...
Punching shear- yes.. could be a possibility.. will look into it...
the walls and roof will be loading the perimeter beams only... I will...
I've got a project to design a concrete slab on steel beams with tube steel columns. It is a residential garage so I've opted to use wide flange beams in liue of joists to avert excess vibration.
A 6" concrete slab on metal corrugutated sheets supported by wide flange beams probably space...
