I too would like some further information on the flow drilling process. A client has asked me to flow drill holes in 10 mm thick ms columns on site by hand in position. Has anyone come across this site, hand application before?

We are installing a pipeline to dose acetic acid. My client is unsure whether he wants duty transfer or duty assist pumps and the the correct type etc

We install a great deal of threaded gas pipe, and use hemp and boss white as a sealing compound on all threaded joints.
Recently I have been made aware that this practise is frowned upon. Is this the case and if so why? What compounds would you recomend?

This has gone through various stages of approval and Titanium is the only method of consideration. We have now managed to procure the relevant size and grade of material and a suitable valve.
Any other thoughts on this subject would be most welcome.
