    Big Gate

The FAAC 400 model looks like the winner http://www.gatedepot.com/prod_faac/detail/400.htm Comes with a warrante that we cant offer the customer if we built it and it handles a gate thats 3 times as long as ours. Also has a nice "soft" start and stop which is nice. And the price looks pretty...

    Big Gate

I spend the first full day trying to track down a "buy and install" opener, there are no units available for this weight of gate and looks how the customer wants it. If anyone sees an opener thats FULLY hidden and can handle 2000 lbs, I would be very happy.

Friction coefficient of oak on steel

Hello, Maybe Im out in left field here, but I thought to measure Kinetic COF you tilt the base plate so the object sliding down the hill does not accelerate. If the item comes to a stop, you will have to know the speed of the item before you tilted the base and that would get tricky to calculate.

    Small Hydraulic Pump and Motor

Hello, I am looking for a small hydralic pump and motor. The pump drives the motor by some direct oil lines between the two. The pump must around 3" in diameter and 3" long (a cylider, and the smaller the better). The motor may be 4" or 5" in diameter but only 2" long (a cylider as well, again...
