Peterpom Thanks for your suggestion. The pipe diameter is about 30mm, which means the mean approach velocity is 0.25 m/s. By the way, Idel´Cik formulas to computed pressure loss.- amgl

HI, Does anyone have information regarding the relation between orifice diameter and noise generaton for water flow through perfurated plates inside pipes? I need to impose a pressure drop of 3 bar for water flow through a pipe, for a flowrate of 10 l/min and low noise/vibration is a critical...- amgl
