    I have 3-1550 MCM cables per lug terminating in an enclosure. The '99 NEC Table 373-6b list cables in this situation up to 900 only. Cables 1000 and larger have no figures in the colum. How do I determine space required?

    Liquid tight Flex - Max. Size

    The code states that 4" is the max. size allowed for liquidtight flex. If this is correct, why is larger sizes even made? I have 6" all over my jobsite.

    Art.351-5 NEC states that the maximun size allowed is 4 inch. If this is so, why is larger sizes,(6 inch),even made? There is a lot of 6 inch liquid tight flex used on my jobsite. Is this permissible? NEC Art.?
