Hello guys,
Can someone help me with the correct way to find the bending stifness and transverse shear theoritically.
My specimen is paper and clamped at both ends.
I want to give these values into I-DEAS.
Thanks
Yousuf
Hello,
My part is a paper clamped at both the ends.
I think that would make it manifold.
I did create a very thin solid and given the mass density but not the weight.
How do i make sure about no free egdes or open spaces.
Thanks
Mirza
Hey guys,
I had no answer to my question , so i found it out myself.
The bending stifness is to be changed to obtain good frequency and corresponding FRF's

Hello everybody,
I would like to know what are all the factors effecting the resonance frequency of a structure(non-linear material in particular).
I am using the following properties to define the material in IDEAS , which is paper for food packing purposes.
