In a building with high ceiling, is there an advantage in operating efficiency or cost of operation to dropping the supply and return ducts of roof mounted HVAC units. Does this really create a "dead air" zone with some insulating effect? If there are benefits, are there reasonable...- elwin

A/C Cost
We are looking at a new facility, which will have an air conditioned production area. The prime choice has 30 ft clear to roof deck. How do I evaluate the cost of a/c of full space versus the cost of suspended ceiling and a/c operation cost/saving.- elwin
