    ICPR4 - Infiltraction Calcs

Where do you find these requirements for the program: • Aquifer Base Elevation • Horizontal Conductivity • Vertical Conductivity • Fillable Porosity Is this something that has to be requested from a Geo-technical Engineer?

    Floating Skimmer Device

Trying to model a floating skimmer device and not sure what flow to input in HydroCAD. Per the skimmer manual I will need two 6 inch skimmers w/H=0.417. The Basin volume needed to drain in 72 hours is 226,357 cuft. I have phase in depth set at 0.42 ft and Full flow set at 1.03 cfs.

    Existing Flow Thru Pond

I have an existing pipe that is flowing into a large wetland(31 cfs), we are building a new detention pond that I would like the existing pipe to flow into but the pond not hold or account for this flow (free flow through the ponds outlet). Is there any way to use hydrocad to allow this flow to...

    Inverted Pipe Flows

Hydrocad won't allow you to enter an upstream invert that is lower than the downstream invert. How would HydroCAD model this situation?

Designing a road/parking lot on beach sand

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a road/parking design for beach front property? Will be putting #57 stone down for driving areas, but was wondering about the structural aspect of the road, would you use a geo-grid or something under the rock?

    Plastic Storm Water Pipe Floating

The town eng. required that my client pipe an existing ditch that was offsite, he refused to issue a permit until the ditched was piped, due to pressure from the adjacent subdivision. The ditch had nothing to do with my site. Therefore, I opted to use the plastic storm drain pipe. The pipe was...

    Plastic Storm Water Pipe Floating

Thanks BMIR the handbook looks like a good suggestion, but the pipe was in the ground for almost 4 years then popped out of the ground, was looking for a more feasible cost solution. If I were to require the referenced concrete ballast to be installed, then why not just use concrete pipe. The...

    Plastic Storm Water Pipe Floating

Any suggestions on a problem with corregated plastic storm drain pipe floating? I have 12" To 18" of cover(per manuf. specs.) and the ground water is approx. 3' below the IE of the pipe, its been in the ground since 2001. Looking for any solutions or similar experiences and corrections.

Drainage areas do not add up?

I know the Tc changes to info, but is there a way to add these up to show a total pre flow off of a site? These two areas flow off in two different areas, but Ineed to show a total for the entire site.

Drainage areas do not add up?

I have two subcatchments DA1 & DA2 , DA1=4.97 cfs and DA2=6.44 cfs, I have both areas routed thru a link to give a combined flow offsite, but the link, gives a total of 8.66 cfs. The total flow should be 11.41 cfs offsite.
