I have alot of experience using Unigraphics manufacturing
but I currently have a requirement to produce a plunge
milling operation which is something I've never had to do
before.
Can anybody shed some light on how I would go about
producing this type of path?

Is there a way of outputing points from a UG part into a text file of there x,y,z values?
At the moment we use a grip file called 'points2file' to output the x,y,z values of points on aerofoil sections of turbine blades.
Although this works well it requires that you create the points on a curve...
We need to export points from a spline, the points need to be exported in order from start point to end point.
At the moment we create the points along the curve using a point set. We then use a UG supplied grip file called 'points2file' to export the points.
