Im looking for a clear description on the theory behind load acceptance and load rejection tests that are carried out in manufacturers' tests for turbines etc.
Im trying to put together a document that will help my colleagues to understand what exactly happens during these tests.

I am embarking on a project that aims to match the simulated dynamic responses from ETAP 5.0 of an isolated generator to the test data provided. It will essentially involve manipulation of the associated parameters and perhaps its control blocks. Any useful sources of information?
I am trying to find detailed information on the operation of the exciter, what parameters have major influence on its transient response etc. Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
