I am having a hard time finding a company to perform failure analysis on an EPDM componant that was installed in a hot water piping system. Has anyone had any experience with this. Alot of places will attempt to do the work, but do not have any experience with it. Any help would be usefull.

For a basic handbook I use the "Engineer in training reference manual" by Michael R Lindeburg. It is a preperation manual for the PE and covers alot of topics, some in more detail than others.
Let me add a little more info. We have checked allignment and chemical compatibility. The expansion joint was installed per manufacturers recommentations. Pending 3rd party it appears as if there are heat cracks in the rubber/EPDM.
