Thanks for this responds.I actually used both FCS and FBS in an experiment(ELISA) and the background signal seemed to alternate!.I was not very sure if it had something to do with me using FBS instead of FCS.As you said i also guest the best way to find out would be to carry out a series of test...- AI2005

What difference does it make using FCS(Foetal Calb Serum) or FBS(Foetal Bovine Serum) for blocking?.Does this affect in any way quality of the ELISA(Enzyme linked Immunosorbent Essay)? Thanks in advance.- AI2005
