    The thread is a stub acme style. I am trying to cut so that you can't see any thread behind the cut. That way, I know that I am looking at the cross section of the thread, not some projected cut (I think???). Matt D.

    I am looking for a way to create a section cut through a thread created by the helix command, cutting along the lead angle. I want to three wire the thread to be able to measure the pitch diameter of the model. Has anyone been successful in this endeavor? Thanks, Matt D.
